Online Financial Software Professional MY GP Cloud into Advisory Council

MY GP Cloud, one of the largest providers of online financial software and hosted Microsoft dynamics enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, announced the appointment of Doug Pitcher, director of academic relations of myGPcloud.com, to a three-year term on the Microsoft dynamics academic alliance (DYNAA) advisory council in the month of June.

“I have worked with a lot of people on the DYNAA advisory council and I am amazed with the dedication and hard work just about every fellow member volunteers to enhance this necessary program,” said Doug Pitcher, Director of Academic Relations at my GP cloud. “Having used an ERP cloud deployment of Microsoft Dynamics GP inside my own classroom, I’ve come to see how powerful of a learning application it is to put a completely functioning online business software suite and cloud accounting system in the hands of students. Servicing on the DYNAA advisory council is a wonderful approach to send to academic alliance and help other professors who are trying to give the best possible education to our future business leaders. ”

Microsoft created the DYNAA to build excellent partnerships with educators, partners of online financial software, and customers that enhance the active learning experience of business students in higher education. The DYNAA advisory council is directed by Microsoft and governed by leading Dynamics users from around the world. The council meets several times a year to share best practices on how to strengthen the student experience at DYNAA member institutions, provide students a competitive advantage when entering into the business world, and evangelize student career opportunities with Microsoft partners and customer organizations.

“Microsoft utilizes professors and experts to assist the direction of the dynamics academic alliance. The focused assistance, time, and effort these individuals give towards improving the program between Microsoft and academic institutions are significant,” said Lyndsey Creamer, program manager for the Microsoft dynamics academic alliance.

“Doug Pitcher, MY GP cloud has already presented several times to the advisory council and members of the DYNAA at our PreConvergence and advisory council meetings. Doug’s nomination and acceptance into the advisory council will be a tremendous asset to other council members and his work in bringing a cloud deployment approach for Dynamics to the academic world made him a natural fit to serve on council.”

Doug Pitcher is absolutely focused on the opportunity to have an effect on how Microsoft interacts with educational institutions simply by his brand new function on the DYNAA Advisory Council and looks forward to all to the achievements of the forthcoming years.
